Real Eating Company
In January 2024, Apollo Construction was appointed as the main contractor for a site on Gresham Street by Heron Project Management for The Real Eating Company. The project brief was to refurbish an existing high street chain coffee shop within a tight two-week timeline, giving it a bespoke feel that aligned with The Real Eating Company’s brand.
The whole refurbishment involved several key elements to enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of the space. High-quality Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring was installed throughout the main customer areas, while Altro flooring was chosen for the bar and back-of-house areas to ensure durability and easy maintenance for both areas. The existing bar was extensively modified to accommodate new catering equipment and it was re-clad in a stylish shaker-style timber and painted to reflect the brand’s bespoke identity.
The entire space was redecorated, featuring a striking feature wall and new signage to enhance brand visibility and customer experience. Apollo Construction completed a electrical rewire to bring the establishment up to modern standards. This included installing spotlights in the ceiling for general brightness and some feature pendants over the refurbished bar to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Throughout the project, Apollo Construction demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and effective project management. Careful planning and execution were essential to meet the strict two-week deadline and adhere to budget constraints.
